What does it mean that YouTube feels the need to create its own orchestra?
It means they understand the value of the live experience. Kudos to them for weaving it into a purely virtual product experience as well by adding a mash-up version of the orchestral performance as a part of this project.
Will this make them any money or work? I don’t know. It could if they’re committed to the live experience part of it, but either way, the red light is on for thinking at YouTube on this one.
