I suspect the theater's reliance on state funding was a factor. Also, they probably had some big donors step back, given the economy. And who knows what dubious pot they sunk their reserves in, if they had any(a box office bomb?)- we don't have that information. Who was doing their books, to account for the missing $1.5 million?
